Our FREE software workshops are offered every quarter to provide students with essential skills to be proficient right away. No registration is required – to attend just show up.

Word is Microsoft's word processing software. Word is excellent for typing letters, papers, notes and memos. It also has the capability to include pictures and more.

EXCEL

Level I: Excel is the part of the Microsoft office package which deals with spreadsheets. Spreadsheets are tables of information like grade lists or accounting data. Excel has the abilty to run simple or complex formulas on this data in nearly any way you could imagine. Also, Excel gives you the ability to make clear and concise charts and graphs from your data.

POWERPOINT

Introduction: Tired of using slides? Ready to give a modern presentation? Then this is the workshop for you. PowerPoint will take you through the basics and leave you ready to create your own slides show presentation. Topics such as creating a presentation, inserting audio and video, color schemes, layout of slides, slide transitions, and inserting images will be covered in this beginning workshop. When you are ready to take the leap into updating your presentations, then come on in and take the PowerPoint workshop.
